Assistant/Associate Professor of Education at Anderson University (Education, MAT, MEd, EdD)

Anderson University (South Carolina) is inviting applications for a full-time, nine-month faculty position as Assistant/Associate Professor of Education in the College of Education. The role is centered on teaching in the Master of Arts in Teaching (Elementary Education) and Post-Traditional Elementary Education programs, with additional teaching across the Master of Education , Doctor of Education , and traditional undergraduate teacher education programs. Teaching may include face-to-face, online synchronous/asynchronous, and hyflex delivery, and summer teaching is strongly preferred. Applicants must hold an earned terminal degree in education ( PhD or EdD ) and have relevant PK-12 education experience. Prior higher education experience is preferred. The university also values scholarly activity, professional experience, program development/recruitment experience, and the ability to serve as a dissertation chair or committee member for doctoral students. Anderson University is a Christian liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The institution emphasizes a strong Christian value system and the integration of faith and learning. Review of applications will begin in April 2026 for a preferred August 2026 start date.
