The SCALE project (Scaling Capabilities for Accelerating Leading Enterprises) has received funding from
Business Finland
and will study how fast-growing companies move from startup to scale-up. The project focuses on the organizational and operational changes that enable scaling, including how companies redesign planning, organization, production, decision-making, and delivery as they grow.
The research will combine
in-depth case research

interviews

quantitative analysis
of scaling trajectories. The team will work with Finnish and international growth companies, including both successful scale-ups and companies that have faced scaling challenges. The project also aims to translate findings into practical tools and insights for companies and policymakers.
