Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Accounting at National University of Singapore

The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School, Department of Accounting, is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position. This research-intensive opportunity is designed for early-career researchers with a strong interest in accounting, finance, or economics. The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Luo Zuo and potentially other faculty members, engaging in active, ongoing research projects within a vibrant academic environment. The role is fully focused on research, with no teaching responsibilities. Key activities include developing research ideas, contributing to study design, collecting and managing large datasets, conducting empirical, analytical, or experimental analyses, performing literature reviews, drafting research papers, and assisting with grant-related deliverables. The Fellow is also encouraged to pursue independent research and participate actively in departmental workshops and seminars. Applicants should hold a PhD in Accounting or a closely related field such as Finance or Economics, or be near completion of their PhD. Strong training in relevant research methods—archival, experimental, or analytical—is required. Candidates must demonstrate research potential, a passion for high-quality academic research, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The NUS Business School is internationally recognized for its research excellence and provides outstanding research infrastructure and generous data support. The Department of Accounting offers a dynamic intellectual community and a leading research environment for postdoctoral scholars. To apply, candidates should submit their CV, research papers (including dissertation), and reference letters to Ms. Gwen Lee at [email protected] by March 31, 2026.
