Institute for Tax Law – Doctoral Scholarship Holder (Joint KU Leuven & Ghent University)

This doctoral scholarship position is offered jointly by KU Leuven and Ghent University, focusing on fundamental research in tax law within the Institute for Tax Law, part of the Economic Law Research Unit. The successful candidate will pursue a joint doctoral degree, with the research topic determined in consultation with supervisors Prof. Filip Debelva (KU Leuven) and Prof. Mark Delanote (Ghent University). Up to 10% of the role may involve teaching-related tasks, such as practical exercises, supervising bachelor's theses, acting as a second reader for master's theses, invigilating, and marking exams. The position is initially offered for one year, renewable for up to four years, and is linked to a part-time position at Ghent University.
