Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Psychology (PhD) at Fayetteville State University

Fayetteville State University is hiring two Tenure-Track Assistant Professors of Psychology to begin in the Fall 2026 semester. This opportunity is in the Department of Psychology at Fayetteville State University , a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina. The department offers a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Psychology with Research and Health tracks. The role is designed for candidates who can teach core psychology courses, contribute to the possible growth of a master’s program in counseling/clinical psychology, and build an active research program. Research and teaching interests: Psychology, counseling psychology, clinical psychology, research methods, student success, and teaching in diverse academic settings. Eligibility highlights: Applicants should have an earned doctorate in psychology from an accredited university. ABD candidates are encouraged to apply, but the successful candidate must have the doctorate completed by the time of appointment.
