Colorado State University Libraries is seeking a Research Data Librarian to provide leadership and expertise in research data management (RDM), data curation, and open research practices. The successful candidate will collaborate with campus partners to develop and deliver services, instructional programs, and infrastructure that support responsible data stewardship throughout the research lifecycle. This open-rank faculty position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to contribute to the university’s research mission in a dynamic academic library environment. The position is open to candidates at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor level, with salary ranges of $70,000–$75,000, $75,000–$82,000, and $83,000–$90,000, respectively. Applicants should have experience or expertise in research data management, data curation, and open research practices. A relevant graduate degree (such as an MLS/MLIS or equivalent) is typically required. Strong collaboration and instructional skills are preferred.
