Postdoctoral Position in Economics and Health Policy in Stockholm, Sweden

Postdoctoral position in Economics / Health Economics / Health Policy based in Stockholm, Sweden , with the option to work remotely from elsewhere in the EU, the UK, or Switzerland. The project is a collaboration with the Public Health Agency of Sweden and is led by Petra Persson and Maya Rossin-Slater (Stanford University). The postdoc will be hired by the Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN) and will work with unique Swedish administrative registry data on high-quality research in a supportive team environment. The role is a 2-year full-time postdoctoral appointment starting no later than September 1, 2026 (or by mutual agreement). There are no teaching duties . The work involves initiating and running projects, collaborating with the research team, and contributing to independent research using modern econometric methods and large datasets. Eligibility highlights: applicants should have a PhD in Economics, Health Economics, or an equivalent field by September 2026. Recent PhD graduates are especially encouraged. Strong research ability and fluency in English are required; Swedish language skills are helpful but not mandatory.
