PhD Positions in AI, Telecom Networks, and Explainable Cyber-Physical Systems at imec & University of Antwerp
Three fully funded PhD positions are available in the Programmable & Intelligent Networks team at imec and the University of Antwerp, Belgium. The research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence, telecom networks, and cyber-physical systems (CPS), with a strong emphasis on explainable AI and next-generation connectivity. The positions are part of international projects, including the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network (GREET), and offer opportunities to work on cutting-edge topics such as AI-native connectivity for cooperative autonomous systems, generative and explainee-aware explainability for proactivity learning, and eco-cognition in CPS. Candidates will join a vibrant, international research environment with access to imec testbeds, European projects, and a supportive doctoral community.
