Fully-Funded PhD Positions in Human & Machine Intelligence, Neuroscience, and AI at Boston College

Boston College's Human & Machine Intelligence Lab, led by Momchil Tomov, is recruiting 1-2 fully-funded PhD students for research on the brain's decision making, naturalistic learning, and the intersection of neuroscience and artificial intelligence. The lab aims to understand how the human brain learns internal models, plans toward distant goals, and generalizes knowledge. Students will leverage state-of-the-art AI models to analyze behavioral and neural data, and design experiments to test hypotheses about learning and decision making. The position offers a competitive stipend of $45,000 per year and full tuition coverage. Research will be conducted in collaboration with the Department of Psychology & Neuroscience and the Department of Computer Science at Boston College, providing a multidisciplinary environment at the forefront of neuroscience, cognitive science, and AI research.
