Postdoctoral Research Positions in Open RAN and IoHT Cybersecurity at Atlantic Technological University
Two 2-year postdoctoral research positions are available at the WiSAR Lab and Technology Gateway Lab, Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Letterkenny, supervised by Professor Muhammad Qasim (Walailak University). Researchers will collaborate with the ARC Hub for ICT, focusing on applied research, innovation, and commercialization bridging academic research with industry needs.
The first position, Postdoc – RANControl, centers on developing reinforced structural-learning-driven xApp for Open RAN closed-loop control, targeting intelligent and adaptive RAN system design. The second position, Postdoc – FedHealthSecure, involves federated few-shot learning for ransomware detection in healthcare IoHT networks, addressing secure and privacy-preserving distributed threat detection across hospital environments.
Applicants should hold a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with relevant experience in Open RAN, xApps, federated learning, cybersecurity, or healthcare IoHT networks. The positions are fully funded for two years, with no stipend or salary details specified. The application deadline is 9th April 2026.
