PhD Position in Intelligent Transportation Systems, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity

SRM University, AP is inviting applications for a PhD position in the area of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) with a focus on the communication layer of Autonomous Vehicles. The research will cover advanced topics such as V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) Communication, V2I (Vehicle-to-Infrastructure) Communication, V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) Architectures, Blockchain-based Secure ITS, and Cybersecurity for Autonomous & Connected Vehicles. Additional research themes include trust, authentication, and reputation models in vehicular networks, as well as the integration of Blockchain with Cyber-Physical Systems to design secure, decentralized, and trustworthy communication frameworks for next-generation transportation systems. The position is supervised by Dr. Naga Sravanthi P., Assistant Professor at SRM University, AP, India. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on funded research projects under agencies such as ANRF, SERB, and DST, and will gain exposure to proposal writing, simulations, and high-quality publications. A PhD fellowship is available as per university norms. Eligibility criteria include an M.Tech, M.E, or M.S in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, or related disciplines.
