The project investigates how early life stress and adolescent cannabis exposure shape brain plasticity, stress responses, behavior, and later mental health. The work involves animal models, electrophysiology, neurobiology, behavioral studies, and analysis of brain plasticity and stress responses. The role also includes publishing research, presenting at conferences, supporting teaching, and supervising students.
Eligibility highlights include a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Neuroscience, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. Experience with lab work is required, and animal research experience is a strong advantage; an Article 9 certificate is mentioned as a plus. The post also values analytical thinking, scientific writing, teamwork, and independence.
This is a paid PhD position with a monthly salary of
€3,059 to €3,881
, plus
8% holiday allowance
and
8.3% bonus
