Assistant Professor of Exercise Science (Biomechanics, Motor Learning, Exercise Physiology, Human Performance)

Campbell University is recruiting a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Exercise Science for a full-time, on-campus, in-person appointment beginning in Fall 2026 (a January 2026 start may also be considered). The position is housed in the Department of Exercise Science within the College of Arts & Sciences at Campbell University . The area of specialization is open, but the department prefers candidates whose expertise complements existing strengths and who can teach in at least two of the following areas: biomechanics , motor learning , anatomical kinesiology , exercise physiology , strength and conditioning , human performance , and sport management . The successful candidate will teach 12 hours each semester , advise and mentor undergraduate students, engage in scholarly activity, and contribute to the university’s Christian mission. The posting also notes opportunities to collaborate with the Advanced Interdisciplinary Movement Science (AIMS) Laboratory in the Department of Physical Therapy at Campbell’s College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences.
