Postdoctoral Researcher in Nursing and Digital Health at University of Zurich
The University of Zurich is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in Nursing and Digital Health to join the Implementation Science in Nursing Group at the Institute for Implementation Science in Health Care. This 2.5-year, 50-70% position is part of the eFICUS project, which focuses on developing and testing digital health interventions for families affected by critical illness. The research group is based at the Medical Faculty and collaborates closely with the University Hospital Zurich's Center of Clinical Nursing Science.
The successful candidate will play a central role in the eFICUS project, contributing to the design, development, and evaluation of a digital health intervention aimed at providing psychoeducational and emotional support to families. Responsibilities include co-design activities, data collection and analysis, collaboration with research and clinical partners, programming and implementing the intervention on a technology platform, usability testing, and preparing peer-reviewed publications. The role also involves supervising Master students, participating in teaching, and preparing applications for research funding.
Applicants must hold a PhD in Nursing Science, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field, with a research profile in digital or public health, nursing, or critical care. Experience in user-centered design and implementation science is advantageous. Candidates should have excellent English and German language skills, strong organizational and communication abilities, and a demonstrated track record of research publications.
