The positions are fixed-term for 3 to 4 years, with salary starting at DKK 39,200 per month plus pension. Candidates should have a recent PhD in political science, international relations, or related fields, with proven research experience and publications. Expertise in IR and political theory, qualitative and interpretative methods, big data analysis, tech policy, and foreign policy is highly valued. Teaching experience and international research community participation are considered merits.
Responsibilities include individual and collaborative research, co-authoring publications, teaching, and active participation in the TECHORDER project and the department's academic activities. Assistant professors are encouraged to acquire Danish language proficiency within 3-6 years, with language training provided. The University of Copenhagen offers a vibrant, inclusive, and internationally oriented academic environment, with support for international researchers and their families.
