Research Lab Manager in Climate Change, Environmental Health, and Data Science at Columbia University
SPARK Lab NYC at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health is seeking a Research Lab Manager to support and coordinate interdisciplinary work at the intersection of climate change, environmental health, and data science. The role involves managing projects, overseeing data pipelines and workflows, supporting technical aspects of climate and health analyses, and contributing to public-facing media such as podcasts and digital content. The successful candidate will work closely with students, postdocs, and global collaborators, and will have opportunities for mentorship and career development.
Applicants should have strong skills in project management, data workflows, coding (R/Python), and science communication. Experience in data science, environmental health, podcasting, media, epidemiology, or statistics is highly valued. The position is in-person at Columbia University in New York City, and candidates must be based in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT).
