Assistant/Associate Professor Tenure Track in Systems and Analytics (Business Analytics, Data Science, AI, Cybersecurity, Digital Health)
The Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in Systems and Analytics, starting Fall 2026. The role is ideal for candidates with expertise in Business Analytics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, Natural Language Processing, Technical MIS, Cybersecurity, Digital Health, and Immersive Technologies. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or be ABD in Information Systems, Analytics, Decision Sciences, or a related field from an AACSB-accredited business school.
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct high-quality research for publication in top-tier journals, teach at undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral levels, and participate in departmental and school governance and service. Preferred candidates can teach in at least two of the following areas: Business Analytics, Data Sciences, AI/ML, Quantum Computing, NLP, Technical MIS, Cybersecurity, Digital Health, and Immersive Technologies (including AR, VR, IoT, Metaverse, Robotics Process Automation, Edge Computing).
This is a full-time, regular, tenure-track appointment with annual salary compensation. The department is part of the AACSB International accredited Mike Ilitch School of Business.
