PhD Position in Antireflection Metasurface-Integrated Flexible Antennas for mmWave Applications at Universiti Malaysia Perlis

Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) is inviting applications for a full-time PhD position in the FRGS 2025 research project titled "Antireflection Metasurface-Integrated Flexible Antennas for Compact mmWave Applications." The project is led by Associate Professor Saidatul Norlyana Azemi and focuses on cutting-edge research in mmWave antennas, metasurfaces, electromagnetics, microwave engineering, flexible and wearable antenna technology, and CST simulation and prototyping. Eligible candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or closely related fields. A strong interest in antennas and microwave engineering is essential, and applicants must be able to register for full-time PhD studies at UniMAP. Preference will be given to candidates with a CGPA of 3.0 or above. The successful candidate will receive research funding support under the FRGS grant, with additional opportunities for publication, prototyping, collaboration, and mentorship from experienced researchers in antenna and microwave systems. This position offers a dynamic research environment and the chance to contribute to innovative solutions in flexible antenna technology for mmWave applications. To apply, candidates should send their CV and academic transcript to [email protected], clearly stating "Application for FRGS PhD Position" in the email. The application window remains open until the position is filled, so early submission is encouraged.
