The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) is inviting applications for PhD, Postdoctoral, and Masters positions in the Mechanical Engineering Department and the CCML (Computational Combustion and Machine Learning) Lab. The CCML Lab, led by Assistant Professor Shubhangi Bansude, focuses on scientific machine learning, computational modeling of reacting flows, turbulence–chemistry interactions, and high-fidelity simulations, with applications in aerospace and energy systems. The Mechanical Engineering Department offers research opportunities in Thermofluids (fluid mechanics, heat transfer, combustion, propulsion, hydrogen fuel cell systems), Robotics and Dynamical Systems (robotics, robot learning, human-robot interaction, soft robotics), and Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (mechanical systems design, solid mechanics, computational mechanics, materials science). The application deadline for PhD and Masters programs is October 14, 2025.
