Postdoctoral Position in Plant Science, Botany, and Genomics at University of California Riverside

The Kenchanmane-Raju lab in the Department of Botany and Plant Sciences at the University of California Riverside is seeking a postdoctoral scholar with strong experimental and computational expertise. The lab focuses on understanding cell-type-specific responses to environmental and developmental cues using advanced single-cell sequencing technologies (scRNA-seq, methylomes, chromatin accessibility), comparative genomics, and integrative data science. Research themes include cis-regulatory element evolution, gene family diversification, and cell-type-specific environmental responses for climate resilience in crops. The position offers the opportunity to develop a self-directed project aligned with the lab's research goals.
