The research will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming financial decision-making in maritime companies, including capital allocation, cost structures, risk management, asset utilization, and the development of new revenue models such as servitization and performance-based contracts. The successful candidate will analyze company data, financial statements, investment decisions, and commercial strategies across the maritime value chain, identifying when and how AI contributes to measurable economic value.
