Fully Funded PhD in Antarctic Microalgae Research (Proteomics, Computational Biology, Environmental Microbiology)
IMU University is offering a fully funded PhD opportunity focused on Antarctic microalgae research, specifically targeting green technology for heavy metal remediation amid global warming. The project integrates proteomics, computational biology, and environmental microbiology to investigate the use of microalgae for bioremediation under warming climates. This interdisciplinary research aims to explore microbial resilience and sustainable biotechnology, with funding provided by YPASM.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend and tuition fee coverage, subject to university requirements. The program also offers opportunities for Antarctic-related fellowships, international collaboration, and specialized training in proteomics, computational biology, and microalgae research.
