University of Idaho is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence through the Department of Computer Science in the College of Engineering. The position is based in Moscow, Idaho, United States, and is centered on research in cyber-physical systems security , critical infrastructure protection , and adversarial machine learning . The postdoctoral researcher will conduct original research, publish in high-quality peer-reviewed journals and conferences, collaborate with faculty and graduate students, contribute to external research proposals, mentor students, and participate in the department’s research community. Teaching up to one course per academic year may be possible depending on departmental needs. Eligibility highlights: a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required at time of hire. Applicants should have demonstrated research experience in cybersecurity or related AI-for-security areas, peer-reviewed publications or dissertation research, and experience with experimental, theoretical, or computational research. Strong communication skills, publication record, and programming proficiency are preferred. Funding and conditions: this is a full-time exempt appointment with a pay range of $58,822.39.
