Postdoctoral Position in Agentic AI, Control Systems, Robotics, and Smart Infrastructure at Institut Teknologi Bandung

The Instrumentation, Control, and Automation Research Group at the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, is offering a postdoctoral position for researchers interested in Agentic AI, control systems, robotics, and smart infrastructure. The group provides a vibrant international research environment with opportunities for global collaboration and cutting-edge interdisciplinary research. Research topics include the development of Agentic AI frameworks for intelligent decision-making and coordination in autonomous and smart infrastructure systems. Areas of focus are AI-driven control, autonomous vehicles and robotics, digital twins and statistical models, and human-machine interaction. Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant field such as control systems, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics, biomedical engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, or applied mathematics. Preferred qualifications include strong analytical and research skills, experience in modeling, control systems, AI, or signal processing, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international research environment. Motivation for high-impact research is essential. Facilities and opportunities include access to advanced labs and simulation platforms, international and industry collaboration, and an annual gross salary of approximately IDR 100 million. The research group collaborates with NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology).
