African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU-YVC)

The African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU-YVC) is now accepting applications for its 2026 cohort. This fully funded 12-month programme is designed for young African professionals who are eager to gain hands-on experience, broaden their horizons, and contribute to continental development in line with Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want. The AU-YVC places selected candidates in AU Member States, offering opportunities to serve, learn, and make a tangible impact across diverse sectors.

Applicants must be citizens of an AU Member State, aged 18–35 years, hold a post-secondary qualification, and possess at least one year of verifiable volunteer or professional experience. The programme is open to all academic backgrounds and aims to build professional skills, foster cross-border work experience, and connect participants with a Pan-African network of changemakers.
