ASEAN Master in Sustainability Management (Fully Funded, Dual Degree, ASEAN Nationals) Universitas Gadjah Mada in Indonesia

The ASEAN Master in Sustainability Management is a flagship, fully funded master's program designed for future sustainability leaders from ASEAN member states. The program is a collaboration between Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia, the University of Agder (UiA), Norway, and the ASEAN University Network (AUN) Secretariat, with funding from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It offers a dual degree: an M.B.A. from UGM with a concentration in Sustainability Management and an M.Sc. from UiA, Norway.

The curriculum is interdisciplinary, addressing complex sustainability challenges from both Southern and Northern perspectives, and is anchored in the dynamic context of Southeast Asia. The program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to become global sustainability leaders, with a strong emphasis on management, leadership, and environmental science.

Eligibility is limited to nationals of ASEAN member states who hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized higher education institution (members of the ASEAN University Network Secretariat) and are no older than 30 years at the time of application. The program is highly competitive and seeks candidates with a passion for sustainability and leadership potential.

The scholarship covers full tuition fees, a monthly stipend for living expenses, travel support for program-related travel (including a six-week stay in Norway), and miscellaneous study expenses such as a laptop, books, and local travel costs. The application deadline is 31 March 2026, and the program will commence in August 2026.
