Fully Funded AYFN Japan Summer Culture Camp 2026 in Osaka – Cultural Exchange Opportunity ASEAN Youth Friendship Network in Japan

The AYFN Japan Summer Culture Camp 2026 is a fully funded, week-long cultural exchange program taking place in Osaka, Japan from July 19th to 24th, 2026. Hosted by the ASEAN Youth Friendship Network, this immersive camp is designed for youth aged 17 to 35 from all nationalities and academic backgrounds who are passionate about travel, culture, and leadership. Participants will explore Japanese culture and language, engage in heritage walking tours in Kyoto, and visit three cities: Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara. The program includes pre-departure Japanese language classes, cultural activities, and opportunities to network with peers from around the world.

The scholarship covers all major expenses, including airfare, accommodation, meals, program fees, airport pickup, all tours, local transportation, a certificate of participation, in-country administration costs, and souvenirs. The camp offers a unique chance to experience Japanese cuisine, lifestyle, and traditions through hands-on activities and guided tours.

Eligibility criteria require applicants to be between 17 and 35 years old, actively involved in social and youth activities, demonstrate leadership qualities, possess excellent English communication skills, and be in good physical and mental health. Required application documents include a Europass CV, motivation letter, essay, self-introduction video, and proof of application fee payment, all submitted in English.
