The Royal Thai Government Scholarships at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) offer fully funded opportunities for outstanding students from Thailand and other Asian countries to pursue master's and PhD degrees in engineering, management, environment, and development fields. Scholarships are available for both doctoral and master's level study. For PhD applicants, the scholarship is open to candidates with excellent academic records in both undergraduate and master's programs, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or equivalent. All applicants must demonstrate English proficiency (IELTS 6.0 overall and writing, or AIT EET ≥ 6.0) and submit two recommendation letters. PhD applicants must also provide a research proposal.

The scholarships cover all tuition and registration fees, accommodation on AIT's residential campus, and a bursary for living expenses. The total value is approximately 1.96 million Baht for PhD students (41 months) and 1.10 million Baht for master's students (22 months). The programs are offered in the School of Engineering and Technology, School of Environment, Resources, and Development, and School of Management, with priority given to applicants from ASEAN and other Asian countries. The scholarships are non-binding, allowing graduates to pursue their careers freely after completion.
