Eligibility highlights: Applicants should hold a First or Second Class Honours Grade 1 Bachelor's degree or a First or Second Class Honours Grade 1 Master's degree in Geography or a cognate discipline. Before applying, candidates must contact a relevant member of academic staff whose research area matches the proposed doctoral project. Applications without agreement from a potential supervisor will not be considered.

Funding: The bursary covers EU fees for four years and includes an annual stipend of €2,500. For non-EU applicants, a partial fee waiver of €5,800 is available to offset part of the non-EU fee.
