Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarship

Flinders University is advertising the Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (FIPRS) 2026, a fully funded PhD / Higher Degree by Research (HDR) opportunity in Australia for international students.

The scholarship supports students pursuing a research doctorate and provides comprehensive financial support, including full international tuition fee coverage and a tax-free annual stipend of AUD 36,061 paid fortnightly. The award duration is up to 3.5 years, and eligible students relocating to Adelaide may also receive a relocation allowance of up to AUD 1,485.

This opportunity is aimed at international applicants who are applying for a Higher Degree by Research in Australia for the first time. Applicants should have a strong academic background, research potential, and meet the university’s HDR admission and English language requirements. Selection is based mainly on academic performance, research experience/training, and research outputs/publications (up to five publications considered).
