University College London (UCL) is offering the Clara Collet Departmental Scholarship for international students commencing PhD studies in 2026. This highly competitive scholarship is awarded solely on the basis of academic merit and research potential. The award is open to candidates from all countries and provides full tuition fees and a tax-free stipend of £21,870 per year (rate for 2026/27 to be confirmed). The scholarship covers four years of funding, either for students entering with a Master's degree or those pursuing a 1+3 route (a Masters within the department followed by a 3-year PhD). Recipients are required to undertake teaching duties: 110 hours in the first year (focused on training and second marking) and 180 hours per year in subsequent years (including both contact and non-contact hours).
