The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) is offering the Postgraduate Local Scholarship for the 2025/26 academic year to support Ghanaian students pursuing Master's and PhD programmes at accredited public tertiary institutions in Ghana. This scholarship aims to build national human capital by supporting advanced education and is open to students who have secured admission into a Master's or PhD programme for the 2025/26 academic year at a local public university or tertiary institution in Ghana.

The scholarship may cover tuition fees, academic-related fees, books, learning materials, and other approved study expenses, subject to GETFund approval and programme requirements. Applicants must meet the academic requirements for their chosen programme and provide all necessary documentation, including an admission letter, approved fee schedule, academic certificates and transcripts, CV, letters of recommendation, research proposal (for PhD applicants), Ghana Card or valid passport, and National Service Certificate if applicable.
