About this position
CREDA (UPC-IRTA), located in Barcelona, Spain, is offering to host postdoctoral researchers for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026. This opportunity is ideal for researchers interested in sustainability transitions within agri-food systems. The research themes include behavioural responses to sustainability policies, sustainable food consumption and rebound effects, circular economy and food waste, agroecology, food system transitions, and both environmental and economic modelling.
Applicants should have a PhD in economics, sustainability, environmental sciences, engineering, or related fields, and demonstrate experience in quantitative methods, modelling, or data analysis. Programming skills, especially in Python, are desirable. The MSCA PF eligibility rules require candidates to have no more than 8 years of research experience post-PhD and to comply with the mobility rule: applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Spain for more than 12 months during the 36 months before 9 September 2026. Researchers of any nationality are welcome to apply.
The fellowship is funded through Horizon Europe - MSCA, providing salary, research costs, and mobility allowance according to MSCA PF guidelines. The expected project start date is May 2027.
