The Juncker Lab at McGill University, led by Professor David Juncker, is recruiting outstanding PhD students and postdoctoral fellows for nomination to the prestigious Canada Impact+ Research Training Award. This opportunity is open to candidates currently outside Canada and offers competitive funding: $40,000/year for three years for PhD students and $70,000/year for two years for postdocs. The research focus includes micro- and nanobioengineering, microfluidics (capillaries, open space microfluidics, microfluidic chain reaction), photopolymerization 3D printing, wearables, single extracellular vesicles (EVs), lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), biophotonics, hydrogel, and advanced immunoassays. The lab is known for its collaborative and supportive environment, with strong internal and external partnerships and a track record of successful spin-offs such as Nomie Bio and Sensoréal. Applicants should have a strong research background, creativity, curiosity, and interdisciplinary interests aligned with the lab's focus areas. Interest in entrepreneurship is considered a plus.
