Cotutelle PhD Full Scholarship

PhD cotutelle/full scholarship opportunity in AI-Enhanced Sustainability Assessment of Agri-Food Systems in Asia, jointly offered by Mahidol University (Thailand) and Macquarie University (Australia).

The project sits at the intersection of environmental science, agriculture, computer science, and engineering, with a strong emphasis on life cycle assessment (LCA), agri-food systems, data inventory/modelling, and AI-enabled sustainability analysis. The degree pathway includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering at Mahidol University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering at Macquarie University.

Supervision is by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trakarn Prapaspongsa and Prof. Shabbir H. Gheewala at the Mahidol side, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazmul Huda and Prof. Dr. Vladimir Strezov at Macquarie University.

Eligibility highlights: B.Eng./B.Sc. GPA > 3.00, M.Eng./M.Sc. GPA > 3.50, prior experience in LCA and agri-food systems/data modelling, IELTS 6.5 (2-year validity), and at least one published journal article in a database accepted by Mahidol University.

Funding: full scholarship / cotutelle PhD with two degrees; no stipend amount is specified in the post.
