Duration: 4 years
Funding: Home-rate fees covered plus a minimum tax-free annual living allowance of £21,805, with additional Research Training Support Grant funding for consumables, conferences, and related costs.

Supervisors: Dr Maria Valasia Peppa, Dr Vasilis Glenis, and Dr Manuel Herrera at Newcastle University.

Eligibility: Applicants need at least a 2:1 Honours degree or international equivalent in a relevant subject such as geospatial engineering, computing, or mathematics. Strong analytical ability, independent working, and good communication skills are required. Non-native English speakers must have IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each sub-skill. UK/EU applicants meeting residency criteria are eligible for Home fees; international applicants may apply but must cover the fee difference.
