The PIMCO Foundation Future Leaders Scholarship is a prestigious, merit-based award aimed at supporting and developing the next generation of leaders in the financial services industry and related fields. This opportunity is open to both undergraduate sophomores and graduate/doctoral students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a strong interest in finance, business, economics, or adjacent disciplines.

For the undergraduate track, applicants must be current college sophomores in good academic standing, with an expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028, and must plan to enroll full-time in undergraduate study for the upcoming academic year. The graduate/doctoral track is open to those planning to apply to, be accepted to, or currently enrolled in a U.S.-based master’s or doctoral program, with a program end date between December 2027 and June 2028, and who plan to enroll full-time. Preference may be given to first-generation and Pell Grant–eligible students, and all applicants should demonstrate strong leadership potential and alignment with PIMCO values. PIMCO employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply.

The scholarship provides a one-time award of $20,000, sent directly to the student. Applications open on December 1, 2025, and the deadline to apply is February 9, 2026. Interviews will be conducted in late April to early May 2026, with award notifications sent in mid-May 2026. This scholarship is an excellent opportunity for students passionate about finance, business, and economics to gain recognition and financial support as they pursue their academic and professional goals.
