About this position
The Young Political Economic Forum Madrid 2026 is a fully funded international youth forum hosted by the Spain Business School in Madrid, Spain, from April 19th to 21st, 2026. This three-day event brings together young thinkers, economists, and leaders from around the world to explore the intersections of politics, economics, and global governance. The forum is designed to empower young professionals, students, and emerging leaders aged 16 to 45 who are interested in economic development and policy-making.
Participants will engage in modules covering the political economy of global trade, campaign strategy, evidence-based policy, ethical leadership, regional integration, inequality, populist reforms, youth-inclusive policy-making, and global governance. The program aims to foster a deeper understanding of how economic and political forces shape global affairs and to encourage youth participation in creating inclusive economic policies.
All selected participants will receive comprehensive financial support, including return airfare, meals, accommodation for three nights, an invitation letter, personalized merchandise, project companion, field visits, mentorship by economists, a certificate of participation, the opportunity for an internship at CIPE, a 10-week virtual course scholarship, and an alumni badge. No IELTS or TOEFL is required for participation or for obtaining a Spain visa.
The forum is open to candidates from all countries, and the application process is conducted online. Applicants must pay a $16.99 application fee and submit their applications before the deadline of March 1, 2026. The event is supported by strategic partners such as Casa de la Moneda, the Ibero American Youth Secretariat, and the Spain Business School.
