The research environment is supportive and multidisciplinary, offering collaboration with international partners and access to state-of-the-art analytical platforms. Fellows will have opportunities for publishing and leadership development.
Applicants should have a strong background in nutrition, biomedicine, analytical chemistry, epidemiology, or related fields. The eligibility criteria require candidates to have obtained their doctoral degree between January 1, 2018, and December 31, 2023 (extendable to 2016 for justified cases such as maternity, illness, or disability). A minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience outside Spain is required, and candidates must not have resided or worked in Spain for more than 12 months in the last three years. Reserved places are available for candidates with a disability of 33% or more. Previous recipients of the Beatriu de Pinós fellowship are not eligible.
The fellowship is fully funded, with a total of €149,396 allocated for each three-year contract (covering salary and social security), plus an additional €12,000 for training, travel, conferences, short stays, publications, intellectual property, and computing equipment. There are no application fees, and an indemnity is provided upon contract completion.
The application window is open from December 16, 2025, to February 4, 2026. All applications must be submitted electronically through the official Beatriu de Pinós BP 2025 portal. Required documents include a CV, project proposal, and supporting materials.
