3-4 Postdoctoral Researchers in Information Technology University of Jyväskylä in Finland

The University of Jyväskylä's Faculty of Information Technology invites applications for 3-4 Postdoctoral Researcher positions, starting from August 1, 2026 or as agreed. These positions offer contracts up to four years, with possible second-term extensions of up to two years. The faculty is renowned for its multidisciplinary research, spanning 18 research groups and four main areas: educational technology and cognitive science, computational science, software engineering, and information systems science. Postdoctoral Researchers will engage in research aligned with their expertise within one of the faculty's groups, contribute to high-level publishing, participate in teaching and thesis supervision, and actively seek research funding. Candidates must have completed a PhD before the start date and meet the university's qualification and language requirements. A six-month trial period applies at the beginning of employment.
