Postdoctoral Positions in Information Technology (3-4 openings) University of Jyväskylä in Finland

The University of Jyväskylä is seeking 3–4 postdoctoral researchers to join the Faculty of Information Technology, starting from August 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, for a fixed term of up to four years. The faculty is Finland’s largest and first dedicated to information technology, offering a vibrant, multidisciplinary environment where technology, information, business, and human perspectives intersect. Research is organized into 18 groups across four main areas: educational technology and cognitive science, computational science, software engineering, and information systems science. The faculty also hosts five research laboratories and two research hubs, providing excellent facilities for innovative research and collaboration.

Postdoctoral researchers will contribute to their field as members of a research group, maintain high publication activity, participate in teaching and supervision, and actively engage in research projects and funding acquisition. The position is designed to strengthen the scientific profile and publication output of the faculty’s research areas.
