Responsibilities include active cooperation in research projects, independent and collaborative application for third-party funded research, participation in writing research proposals, international publishing, supervision of academic theses, and teaching courses with an emphasis on cognition and social-emotional development. The role also involves supervising students, particularly in quantitative analysis of empirical data, assisting with exams, and contributing to administrative tasks.

Applicants must possess a doctoral degree or PhD in inclusive education, psychology, or a related field. Essential qualifications include experience in empirical research project management, proposal writing, acquisition and management of third-party funded projects, and a strong focus on inclusive education or special education psychology. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding research and teaching abilities, excellent knowledge of empirical and social research methods, proficiency in statistical methods and computer programs (such as SPSS, R, AMOS, MAXQDA), and expertise in computerized literature search. Didactic competence, fluency in German and English, English publishing experience, and strong team and organizational skills are required.
