KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden is offering three fully funded PhD positions in the field of AI-driven wireless networks and 6G systems. The positions are part of two major research initiatives, SMART-6GSAT and 6G DICE, which focus on developing next-generation wireless infrastructures integrating terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks. Research topics include distributed MIMO in space, TN–NTN integration and network design, and joint management of cloud, processing, and radio resources for future AI-driven applications.

The projects offer collaboration with leading academic, industry, and public partners, and the research will be supervised by Professors Cicek Cavdar and Emil Björnson. Successful candidates will receive a starting monthly salary of 32,000 SEK, full student and employee benefits, and eligibility for permanent residence in Sweden upon completion of the PhD.
