The research group focuses on innovative directions in food safety and food processing, with particular emphasis on bacteriophage-based strategies to control foodborne pathogens, functional and safe alternative proteins from novel sources, multi-omics and AI approaches to predict microbial spoilage and safety risks, and antimicrobial material engineering for targeted pathogen control.

Applicants should have a background in Food Science, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Materials Science, or related fields, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
