About this position
Postdoctoral position in Economics / Health Economics in Stockholm, Sweden, with the option to work remotely from elsewhere in Europe (EU, UK, or Switzerland). The project is a collaboration between Petra Persson (Stanford University / IFN) and Maya Rossin-Slater (Stanford University), in partnership with the Public Health Agency of Sweden.
The postdoc will work on research using unique Swedish administrative registry data, contribute to independent high-quality research, and collaborate closely with the research team. The role is a 24-month full-time appointment with no teaching duties. The position is hosted by the Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN) in Stockholm.
Required background: a PhD in Economics, Health Economics, or an equivalent field completed by September 2026; strong research ability; experience with large datasets and modern econometric methods; and fluency in English. Swedish language skills are not required, but are considered helpful.

Funding details
