Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) of the University of Twente graduates who took the Space for Ethics elective and have an aptitude for critically evaluating geoscience sustainability research and who are looking for a PHD opportunity, the following could be an interesting opportunity:

Leuphana University of Lüneburg is looking for PhD students to join them for funded Phd studies (stipends of €1850 / month for 3+1 years) as part of the research theme Climate Futures in Digital Cultures within the Embracing Transformation research initiative. Some of the thematic areas are also suitable for research topics and areas that speak to border, citizenship and mobility/ migration studies.
