The Thermal Engineering and Material Processing Lab (TEMP Lab) at Dongguk University, Seoul, South Korea, is seeking highly motivated candidates for PhD and integrated Master's/PhD positions in the Department of Mechanical, Robotics, and Energy Engineering. The positions are available for the Spring 2026 semester (starting March 2026). Applicants with backgrounds in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, material science, or related fields are encouraged to apply. The lab values candidates with experience in embedded systems, circuit design, firmware development, machine learning, wearable electronics, and energy harvesting. Strong experimental skills, self-motivation, proactivity, responsibility, and teamwork are essential. Proficiency in English or Korean (both written and verbal) is required. While a publication list as a main author is not mandatory, it is considered a plus.
