The project will further develop this technology, employing advanced biophysical methods to study polymer interactions with membrane proteins and peptides, with the goal of predicting protein functionality within SMALPs. The outcomes are expected to expand the utility of SMALP technology in both academic and commercial settings. The studentship is funded by the BBSRC through the Midlands Integrated Biosciences Training Partnership (MIBTP), involving collaboration with several partner universities.
