The Centre for Health Economics (CHE) at the University of York invites applications for a funded PhD studentship, offering an outstanding opportunity to join one of the world’s leading health economics research centres. CHE will fund a studentship in one of seven prioritised topic areas, including socioeconomic inequalities in unmet needs for mental healthcare, leveraging routine data and decision models for rapid evidence-based decision making, preventive care and mental health service use, machine learning for causal inference in health policy, digital health technologies in NHS service delivery, lifecycle medicines value, and in-silico trials in health technology assessment and policy. Proposals in other health economics areas may also be considered, but priority will be given to the listed topics.
