Funding details

Two fully funded PhD studentships are available, starting August 2026. Funding covers stipend and tuition. Postdoc positions are also available, but specific funding details are not provided. Undergraduate and visiting studentships are open, but funding is not specified.

What's required

Applicants for the PhD studentships should have a strong interest in nanomaterials and optoelectronic device applications. Graduate students from all subdisciplines are welcome. For postdoc positions, preference is given to candidates with expertise in material growth (CVD, PVD, MBE, or PLD), MEMS, nano/microfabrication, or quantum materials/quantum optics. Visiting and undergraduate students are also welcome year-round, with or without prior experience. All applicants should send their CV to the supervisor via email.
